110 g unsalted butter (mentega tawar)
60 g brown sugar
40 g granulated sugar (gula pasir)
1/2 tsp salt (garam)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 egg (telur)
195 g all-purpose flour (tepung terigu protein rendah/sedang)
3 g cornstarch (tepung maizena)
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
100 g chocolate chips

INSTRUCTIONS
In a bowl, combine the butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, salt, and vanilla extract. Mix until soft and creamy.
Add the egg and mix until fully combined and the sugar begins to dissolve.
Add the flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix until just combined.
Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
Divide the dough into 7 portions, or adjust depending on your baking tray size. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes until firm.
Remove the dough from the refrigerator. Flatten each piece of dough, place a piece of dark chocolate in the center, then seal and roll back into a ball shape. Arrange on a baking tray or oven-safe dish.
Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F) for 10 minutes. Bake the cookies for 25–30 minutes until the edges are set while the center remains soft and gooey.

Masukkan butter ke dalam wadah, lalu tambahkan brown sugar, gula pasir, garam, dan vanilla extract. Aduk hingga teksturnya lembut dan creamy.
Tambahkan telur, lalu aduk hingga tercampur rata dan gula mulai larut.
Masukkan tepung terigu, maizena, baking powder, dan baking soda. Aduk hingga adonan tercampur rata.
Tambahkan chocolate chips, lalu aduk kembali hingga merata.
Bagi adonan menjadi 7 bagian atau sesuaikan dengan ukuran loyang. Simpan di chiller selama 30 menit agar adonan lebih set.
Keluarkan adonan dari chiller. Pipihkan setiap adonan, beri potongan dark chocolate di bagian tengah, lalu tutup dan bentuk kembali menjadi bulat seperti bola. Susun di loyang atau wadah tahan panas.
Panaskan oven selama 10 menit pada suhu 180°C. Panggang cookies selama 25–30 menit hingga bagian pinggir matang dan bagian tengah tetap lembut.
