Hi, I’m Kiki — an Indonesian senior visual designer who loves spending weekends baking and cooking at home.
Homiflavi started as a simple place to keep the recipes I make and truly enjoy — from sweet treats fresh out of the oven to savory comfort food made for slow, cozy moments. The name homiflavi (pronounced: how-mee-flay-vee) comes from a combination of the words home and flavor — inspired by homemade food that feels warm, comforting, and full of flavor.
I’m not a professional baker or chef — just someone who genuinely enjoys learning, experimenting, and sharing the baking and cooking journey along the way. Most of the recipes on this website are approachable, easy to make, and inspired by the kind of food I love preparing for family and friends. Every recipe shared here is something I personally enjoy in terms of flavor, texture, and overall experience, and would happily make again in my own kitchen.
Some of these recipes are also inspired by talented creators, bakers, cooks, and food enthusiasts whose work has contributed to my own baking and cooking journey. Whenever a recipe is adapted from or inspired by someone else’s work, I always provide credit and include the original creator’s account or source below the recipe.
If no credit is listed, it usually means the recipe has been made, tested, and modified multiple times to suit my personal taste and preferences, to the point where I no longer remember the original source. In those cases, any similarities are unintentional, and I am grateful to the many creators and home cooks whose ideas have helped shape my learning along the way.
This website is not about creating perfect recipes, but about learning, improving, and finding joy in homemade food. I hope these recipes inspire you to explore, experiment, and create delicious moments in your own kitchen.
Thank you for stopping by and being part of this little cozy kitchen corner. I’m grateful to share this journey with you and hope these recipes bring as much joy to your kitchen as they do to mine.
