Pão de Queijo, or Brazilian Cheese Bread, is a traditional Brazilian snack made with tapioca flour and cheese. It has a crisp, golden crust, a soft and chewy center, and a rich cheesy flavor that's perfect for breakfast, snack time, or an afternoon coffee break.
INGREDIENT
180 g tapioka flour (tepung tapioka)
150 ml full cream milk (susu full cream)
30 ml vegetable oil (minyak sayur)
30 g unsalted butter (mentega tawar)
1 (50 g) egg (telur)
100 g cheddar cheese (keju cheddar)
40 g mozzarella cheese (keju mozarella)
½ tsp salt (garam)

INSTRUCTIONS
Batter: Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth and well combined.
Filling the Pan: Lightly grease a muffin pan with oil. Fill each cup about ½–⅔ full with the batter.
Baking: Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Bake for 20–22 minutes, or until puffed and golden brown. If the bottoms are still pale, turn them over and bake for another 2–3 minutes.
Serving: Serve warm for a slightly crisp exterior and a soft, chewy center.

Adonan: Masukkan semua bahan ke dalam blender, lalu blender hingga adonan halus dan tercampur rata.
Pencetakan: Olesi loyang muffin dengan sedikit minyak. Tuang adonan hingga sekitar ½–⅔ penuh pada setiap cetakan.
Pemanggangan: Panaskan oven terlebih dahulu pada suhu 200°C. Panggang selama 20–22 menit hingga mengembang dan berwarna golden brown. Jika bagian bawah masih pucat, balik roti lalu panggang lagi selama 2–3 menit.
Penyajian: Sajikan selagi hangat agar bagian luar tetap sedikit renyah dan bagian dalam terasa lembut serta chewy.

TIPS
Do not overfill the muffin cups, as the batter will rise significantly while baking.
Pão de Queijo is best enjoyed warm. If serving later, reheat in the oven or air fryer for 3–5 minutes to restore its crispy exterior and chewy texture.

Jangan mengisi cetakan terlalu penuh karena adonan akan mengembang cukup tinggi saat dipanggang.
Pão de Queijo paling nikmat disajikan hangat. Jika sudah dingin, hangatkan kembali dalam oven atau air fryer selama 3–5 menit agar teksturnya kembali chewy.
