INGREDIENT
220 ml water (air)
70g unsalted butter (mentega tawar)
1 tsp vanilla extract
40g granulated sugar (gula pasir)
180g flour (tepung terigu)
2 large eggs (telur ukuran besar)

Coating
150g granulated sugar (gula pasir)
1 tbsp cinnamon powder (bubuk kayu manis)
1 tsp vanilla bean powder (optional)
SERVING
8 pieces (±10 cm)

INSTRUCTIONS

In a saucepan or pan, combine all ingredients except the eggs. Cook over medium heat while stirring until well combined.
Transfer the dough to a mixing bowl. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing with a spatula or a mixer on low speed until smooth and fully combined.
Transfer the dough into a piping bag fitted with a large piping tip.
Pipe the dough onto parchment paper into strips about 10 cm long.
Fry in hot oil until golden brown and crispy.
Remove from the oil and drain well. Let cool slightly for a few minutes.
While still warm, coat the churros evenly in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
Serve with your favorite chocolate spread or dipping sauce

Siapkan saucepan atau wajan, lalu masukkan semua bahan kecuali telur. Masak dengan api sedang sambil diaduk hingga semua bahan tercampur rata.
Pindahkan adonan ke dalam wadah. Masukkan telur satu per satu sambil diaduk menggunakan spatula atau mixer dengan kecepatan rendah hingga adonan halus dan tercampur rata.
Masukkan adonan ke dalam piping bag dengan tip berukuran besar.
Semprotkan adonan memanjang di atas baking paper dengan panjang sekitar 10 cm.
Goreng dalam minyak panas hingga churros berwarna golden brown dan crispy.
Angkat dan tiriskan. Diamkan beberapa menit hingga sedikit hangat.
Balurkan churros yang masih hangat ke dalam campuran gula dan bubuk kayu manis hingga terlapisi rata.
Sajikan dengan selai cokelat favorit
